The Alabama Health Guidance home office is located in Florence, Alabama, and has been in business since 2010.
Our mission is to assist in educating people about their healthcare choices once they become eligible for Medicare.
Alabama Health Guidance has licensed representatives throughout the state of Alabama to assist in every region.
We are an independent insurance agency specializing in Medicare education and Medicare health plans. We offer free individual counseling sessions to help you understand the basics of Medicare and your Medicare insurance options.
If we can help you compare local Medicare insurance plans, let us know. We offer a wide range of local Medicare services to assist you. We want to be your local resource for Medicare education and Medicare insurance plans.

Alabama Health Guidance offers free Medicare educational services. We specialize in Medicare education and Medicare health plans. If you are new to Medicare, retiring, or have questions about your existing Medicare coverage, we can help!
Our services are always free of charge, whether it is an individual consultation or an educational class. Our educational classes are held the third Thursday of each month, at 11:00 a.m. at the main office in Florence. Contact us for additional information.

Ikey Fowler

Ikey began his professional career as a teacher and football coach. His coaching stops included the University of Alabama, the University of North Alabama, Central High School of Florence, and Colbert County High School. After retiring from coaching in 2005, Ikey began working in insurance, focusing primarily on retirement and annuities. In 2009, Ikey and his son, Lee, started Alabama Health Guidance to assist Medicare eligible individuals with their healthcare needs.

Lee Fowler
Lee has been working in the insurance industry since 2006. Prior to working in the Medicare field, Lee worked for an Allstate agency. He also traveled across the United States presenting voluntary benefits for federal employees. Lee and his dad, Ikey, started Alabama Health Guidance in 2009 to assist Medicare eligible individuals with their healthcare needs.

Anah Whitehead Fowler

Anah has worked for over ten years as a Medicare professional. During that time, she has become well-educated in navigating the Medicare system and is excited to help take the confusion out of making Medicare decisions for individuals who are new to Medicare, as well as those who are already participating in a Medicare plan. As a senior herself, helping other seniors make Medicare decisions is like helping a dear friend or family member choose the best plan for their personal medical and prescription needs.
Anah’s special focus is on working with Veterans to make sure they receive all the Medicare benefits they so rightfully deserve. In addition, she works closely with human resource professionals to assist them in guiding their retiring employees. Anah happily shares her personal cell phone number with her members and those in need of Medicare assistance. She truly provides a personal touch.

Caycee Fowler

Caycee has been a Medicare insurance professional since 2013. She worked for Humana Insurance Company as a captive agent prior to joining Alabama Health Guidance as an independent. Caycee specializes in assisting medicare beneficiaries with all types of situations. Whether you are turning 65, retiring or already on Medicare, Caycee is equipped to help you. Prior to beginning her career in Medicare, Caycee received her B.S. from the University of Alabama and her MBA from the University of North Alabama.

Heather Fowler

Heather is a graduate of the University of North Alabama. She taught first grade at Underwood Elementary for twenty five years. After retiring from teaching in 2023, Heather began her career with Alabama Health Guidance.
Heather is available to assist individuals with an ACA Health Insurance Plan. She can assist you in enrolling in health insurance with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.

Hope West

Hope worked in various facets of health care prior to joining Alabama Health Guidance in 2016. She has worn many hats in the Alabama Health Guidance organization and is able to answer any question that arises. Hope truly is an expert in navigating Medicare options and giving solid information to all clients. Hope enjoys marketing and sales and is always ready to help everyone!
She has a son and daughter, and is married to Shea West.

Erica Vaughn

Erica began her professional career in 2005 after receiving her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Alabama. After working 13 years in the healthcare setting, Erica joined Alabama Health Guidance in 2018 to further pursue her passion for helping others. Erica’s goal is to thoroughly educate Medicare-eligible individuals on all of their available options so that they are able to choose the coverage that best fits their personal healthcare needs. She strives to be an advocate and to help alleviate the confusion associated with navigating the Medicare system. Erica is available to assist those who are new to Medicare, getting ready to retire, eligible for Medicare due to disability, or those who simply want to review their coverage options.

Beverly Stamps White

After spending 27 years working in various medical provider offices, Beverly moved to the insurance side of medical care in 2017. Whether it’s helping someone enroll into Medicare, helping them chose a Medicare health or drug plan for the first time, or assisting someone already on Medicare with picking a new plan, Beverly has the expertise to do it all. As a local Medicare Insurance Specialist, Beverly has both the passion and the knowledge to help people from all walks of life transition from individual or employer coverage to Medicare.

With over a decade of experience in the Medicare industry, Lisa started her career in 2009 as a sales agent with Humana. She moved from sales into management as her focus moved to developing great agents. Lisa is passionate about helping individuals and agents navigate the complexities of Medicare. Her goal is to provide clear, reliable information that empowers people to make informed decisions. Whether you’re new to Medicare or an agent looking for guidance, she’s here to help simplify the process and ensure you have the knowledge you need.

Kayleigh Reed

Kayleigh is a current nursing student. She has a strong passion for caring for others and truly enjoys getting to know her patients while helping them feel comfortable and supported.
Outside of school, Kayleigh enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Jake, and their dog, Nova. She’s excited to continue growing in this field and looks forward to making a positive difference in the lives of those she cares for.
