Burt Helton spent the last 26 years in the education field, serving 21 of those years as a school administrator. In 2020 he retired from education and began working to help seniors with their Medicare needs. Burt helped pilot the pharmacy program and continues to work with pharmacies assisting their customers with their healthcare needs.
In addition, Burt works extensively in community service with Shoals Scholar Dollars, the Miss Alabama Organization, Tennessee Valley Art Association, and Habitat for Humanity.
